yup jerry, thats why i am trying these new tires...the buckshots will wear well even on highway driving too. Clint, I can agree some with your luck on sidehills, out west we have high sand / silt contents, if you research most often during monsoon or winter season you will see military vehicles during ww2 and korea had chains on, as for plowing snow, where i grew up t lake tahoe we chained up all the way around because the snow was wet heavy and deep, used firestome extra traction grip 750-16s on all our wreckers, and could plow 3ft of snow with power wagon on all fours to rescue someone ib the mountains, same goes for my stock m37a meyers plow on a w200! here in idaho, i have never chained up scruffy the m37, yet i can push snow over the plow and hood with the nato tires...i use a 2200lb hertner motorgenerator on a pallet in the bed for weight! the snow here is very dry and fluffy, our biggest problem is ice, but the ice gets so slick even chains wont help much, but i will chain up for deep mud too, then the old pw is like a farm tractor!
