Totally disagree with how he did this, Here's my comments on his video;

My Dad taught me how to do this when I was a kid in junior high school. I totally disagree with the way you removed the ring. You should never attempt to pry the ring off until the bead is broken free and has dropped down around the entire circumference of the tire. If you start prying on the ring without the bead down you will bend the ring and it won't fit tight when you put it back on. Also after you get the ring off you flip it over and break the bead off the other side and remove the tire from the rim. Then you pull the flap and tube out. Also if you are disassembling the tire to fix a leak be sure to mark on the tire where the valve stem is. Then when you put air in the tube and find the leak you can use the tube to locate whatever is in the tire caused the leak.

At 7:31 when you are reassembling the rim you can see how the rim is now bent slightly and doesn't fit tight on the rim. Also you would never be able to put the rim back on with just your hands if it was not bent. Normally you start one end of the rim and walk around on it with your feet using your weight to push it on. A rim that is not bent will snap tightly into place with no gap like you have.
