You'll spend $250+ just for the pinion double cup bearing/cones and that's if you buy it yourself. According to my 1957 Motor's Flat Rate & Parts Manual, 9.2 hours ($100+ per/h rate at today's price) to rebuild the 3rd member to include the carrier which you would want to do to replace the fiber side gear washers with bronze if nothing else. I'm sure the $150 price would not include that. Better plan on $1200 to $1800 locally if you can find someone with the know how and tools to do it. Add another $300+ for 5.83 gears or $1200 for 4.89. Can get expensive quick.
