We use a wood stove to heat our house. The door handle is wood with a hole through the length of the handle and a 5/16" bolt to fasten to the lever on the door of the stove. The bolt will not stay tight. I've tried thread sealants (red, blue) but they don't hold. I've also tried teflon tape. A lock washer doesn't help.
Does anyone have a better suggestion?
