I just remembered seeing a video of someone using option 3 and reinforcing the rotation tube with an inner sleeve because it seems that someone had tried it before and the tube broke where the large pin holes are.
There is also Option 4), which is to roll it onto a latex mattress topper pad that I saved just for this purpose. I figured that I would fold the pad a couple times and then roll the cab on it's back. I have been hesitant to do so because I am concerned that the rear sheet metal would collapse. It seems that someone else has successfully tried this and was successful. I asked if he used any support and am waiting to hear back. A mattress pad on the ground isn't very high tech, but it is cheap.
