Speaking of fenders, I noticed quite some time ago that the Power Wagon parts vendors sell front fender repair kit. And In my mind I wondered why. Why would anybody make such a specialized repair kit that fits a particular section of a specific fender? How much call can there be for that, right? And no only that, my front fenders both have the repair kits attached, and attached by a million and one bolts.
I spent yesterday hanging up the front fenders and the hood from the garage ceiling because they are taking up too much room and always seem to be somewhere where I have going to take a chunk out of my skull. The first fender was very difficult to lift and manage while lifting to get it into it's sling, so I decided to be bright and take off the support brackets and the fender repair kit off the 2nd fender before I hung it.
I can only attach one photo per post, so this is a photo of the 2st fender all snug in it's hanging place.
