I removed the filter and brass lines leading to the carb and also tested the fuel pressure after the filter same 3.5-4.0. Removed the brass fitting that holds the needle valve and looked at it under magnification. did not see any particles or reason not to be working. Put it all back together dump a little fuel in the carb and started it up. Filter bowl filled immediately and it ran for 20 min at idle then raised to 1500 RPM for another 5 min. ran great.This is the second time I have had the carb bowl run dry and taking it apart and putting back together seemed to fix it. I my try and different fuel pump and test the pressure.
