Like Tom said, we need more info.
1/2 tons used some Dana, some corporate..
3/4 tons used both Dana 44's and Dana 60's..
1 tons used 44's, 60's and 70's..
The model number is cast into the bottom left truss on Dana cases. The gearing will be cast into the right side. You might need a stiff wire brush to clean it up enough to read.
In addition, all the covers are shaped a little different..
