Randy, not far from you in New Jersey there were Power Wagons in almost every town, especially in the areas in and around the Pine Barrens. Almost every local fire company had one for a brush truck, and local municipalities used them for snow plows and road maintenance vehicles. I lived outside of Philadelphia in the 80s and I'd find them broken down in old commercial lots and farmers fields. Growing up near Annapolis in the 70s I had no idea they existed. Bowie Fire Dept had an M37 for their brush truck, but at the time I thought it was a Kaiser or a Jeep. Silly me.
