I been having ongoing trouble with my 1975 W600. Mostly keeping the Carter BBD carb working well & keeping fuel pump/hoses from leaking. Old parts like to leak, new parts too sometimes. Also just drained the in cab tank today for removal & cleaning. I doubt its ever been done. Anyways the carb is apart & I had a little engine fire that melted some vacuum lines & insulation on the wiring atop the intake. So for the sake of simplicity I am temporarily doing away with the entire stock electronic ignition system & switching to a Joe Hunt magneto. I have had one (Vertex) on my 440 for over 30 years & absolutely love its performance & simplicity. I'm a "less is more" type of person. I'm also cleaning up some of the other under hood & under dash wiring......anyways I hope everyone is doing well here. And I'm still having issues replying to existing threads unless I switch to a different laptop, so if I disappear again that's likely why. Bucky
