Hi John, I can’t give you a list of what was cad plated on these trucks but what I found was almost all the bolts on these trucks were Cad plated & then painted over. They assembled large assemblies & then just sprayed them so like all the winch & bumper bolts on my 49 were plated underneath but should have been sprayed as an assembly. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it but that’s the way they were done. The bed assembly on
Mine was primed, then the sides were assembled to the front panel & lower rear crossmember with cad plated bolts then they sprayed body color over bolts & all.
If you’re doing a concours restoration…that’s how mine was & it was very low mile original paint truck before I took it apart.
