I like seeing PWs stock because they have such a great original design when used as intended - although pto from the tc would have been nice. I had a 318 in an m-37 and it was fun but I liked the experience of driving my stock m-37 better … partly because the hydraulic clutch in the v8 truck was my own cobbled together farmer setup and it would have problem occasionally.
Saw what I think is the better alternative to a pw mod yesterday - 1.5 ton civilian sheet metal on a 1-ton chevy in 37s …the hand winch is funny.
