I live north of you, Fresno area. Yep, they have a few thousand charging stations now and they want to put in 1.3M in CA, they can't supply enough electricity now, Texas had to tell there residents to stop charging there EV, last week, not enough electricity. I'm fine with Nuclear power, clean and safe. I'm not fine with solar fields that only produce during the day and wind generating units that work only when wind blows, both pollute the landscape with large numbers. Europe has already experience the unreliability of solar & wind and are moving back to legacy systems, while our leaders, that are short on infinite wisdom, have to prove yet again they don't work on there own, you need nuclear, hydro and fossil fuels to provide reliable energy. Since Biden wants zero CO2 emissions and we people produce 8% of it, I wonder what's in store for us peasants of the country.

On an interesting note - Biden boosts about all these high paying renewable energy jobs, I wonder how Ford's 3,000 employees feel about being released while the EV product goes to Mexico for assembly. I also here they want to build a good number of wind generators on the east coast, not by Americans, but by Norwegians. I guess when they talk globalism, it doesn't mean U.S.
