thats the can of worms someone mentioned. once you start changing it is difficult to stop without doing a complete resto-mod. the original axles were never designed for those rpms, seals wear out fast, and there is a lot of noise. there is noise with a restomod, some can be abated but it is still a design from the 40,s. gas engines are quieter but create more heat, tire size and axle gear ratio are things to consider when doing drivetrain calculations. good steering is another design issue. sounds like an addiction has started when you say i want another one but dont know why. there are worse ways to spend your time and money. as far as how to get there economically, michael verst put together one of the nicest trucks out there at a good price. you want to attend his rally coming up soon.you will learn a lot there.
