I will still use my ATF
I put 10 gallons of diesel into my transfer tank, then fill it with used ATF (from my storage tanks, allowing the ATF to settle out water and grit to the bottom, pumping off the top and through my inline filter, into the transfer tank)
Runs great, no smoke, 100 gallons for price of 10 with some time to pick up the ATF each week
Not bad, 100 gallons costs about $50.00 with little effort
It works better than the deep-fry grease I was using, but the deep-fry grease docent like cool weather, the ATF stays flowing not jelling up and truck will start on it early where the deep-fry grease I need to get thy engine warmed up with diesel first and switch back to the diesel tank about 2 miles from the house to flush out grease in engine
