Aren't the POW and 1/2t WC's the same crossmemeber, PW has more holes for 2 speed TC? Easier to drill holes. Good hole saws work in steel, if you withdraw often to allow chips to escape, or pre-drill a small hole inside of the edge of the hole saw kerf, the chips will exit there.
