No Boiler License required. Run your truck on wood or charcoal. Its called Gasogens. Used heavily in Europe and the Pacific Islands in the 1940’s and actually back to WW I. Actually very simple to build. Many years ago, I became interested in Gasogens when I found wealth of Documents from the US Forest Service and also Canadian Forest Service. This was before the internet days, all it took to obtain these documents was a request letter. I have 2, 3 ring binders packed with engineering data, and build plans. Now days with the internet a quick google search will yield everything and more than you ever want to learn. YouTubber has lots of videos as does Mother Earth News.

Anyone with basic to intermediate Fab skills and can Weld, can easily build a Gasogen for
short Dollars. The Gasogens have also been used very successfully in powering stationary
equipment such as pumps and generators. I always wanted to build a gasogen, but kept
putting it off. I have the skills and all needed Fab equipment, however now at 80 yrs old
I don’t want to get involved in a long term build. I am building a Ham Radio station to bounce 1.2GHz signals off the moon. Look on Wikipedia for Moonbounce…..its very real, its the Mount Everest of Ham Radio.
