Yeah, I got that it read backwards on that bit.

I thinking Charles's method was designed for new parts, being sure everything was well seated. And its not like it was left at 100 ft-lbs. Once it was backed off, the bearings were pretty much unloaded.

I ran over 10,000 miles on it, and never were the hubs even warm. So I guess, in the end, it worked. But this time its different. So I'll probably just kinda' set it "by ear" like the manual states, and see how it goes.
