Photo of the top, the side it was welded from. The middle section of the photo includes a seam that has no weld material at all. No wonder so many of our manufacturing jobs are going overseas.
Time to preach: I was a land surveyor for 36 years, most of which was spent building highways. And I am proud of my work. In my neighborhood, my blue collar work was looked down upon, but I got and still get fulfillment in the knowledge that I provided something of value for people and I like to think I did it well. I did not put out a crappy product, and I cared about not just my stakes, but the end product as well. Ok, enough soap box.
