"I have never sold a Power-Wagon part that I did not later regret."

That is funny, but at the same time it convinces me to keep them.

It is kind of difficult for me to get to know this truck first. It came in pieces. And it was the first FFPW I ever saw in person. Heck, the closest I have ever come to owning any truck was a few VW vans, and a Honda Odyssey minivan. I don't know about making it better, but I think that experience wrenching on stuff gives one a perspective on what one might prefer or not prefer. And for everything else, I ask you guys. I am fairly sure that I do not want to deal with the split rings myself, and am glad the truck came with some more modern wheels for which I bought some more modern tires. And, because of you guys and the incredible knowledge base, I will keep the wheels for the next steward.

Yesterday, as I was cutting through the cable in the bead, the tire started making noises as the last strands were cut. Boy, did that scare the heck out of me. I know the split rings are not suppose to be dangerous with no air pressure, but knowing is different than experience, and until that ring was completely off, I hated standing in front of it each time that was necessary.
