Yes, it is always about time and effort. With me, it is all about how high the cab has to be raised. Without the steering column, the cab can slide into place. With the steering column attached, the cab will have to be high enough to clear the column. But, after further inspection, it seems to be prudent to replace sheet metal on the floor pan first. I was going to mount the cab the way it is, but I don't think it will be safe unless the floor pan sheet metal is replaced, so the cab decision can be put off for now. The only piece of sheet metal I don't have is the rear most portion. Anybody know where I can purchase it? It has a bowl in the drive side and is flat on the passenger side, so flat metal will not do.
