Selling my 1949 B-1-PW. Purchased from Vintage Power Wagons in 1999. It was a mess with a one gallon fuel tank strapped to the fender and the bed; what was left, sagging around the rear axle. It was painted-in barn paint complete with brush strokes. The truck was trailered to Washington and restored over may years into a very nice, original truck. The only real mods are the taillights, paint, installing a 6-volt alternator, replacing the rat eaten seat with a 1990, Dodge Dakota seat, and Selectro hubs added to reduce drive train wear. Cab interior lighting added on a switch.

The engine was pulled, checked, and repaired as needed,-not a total rebuild, but freshened, and a new higher pressure oil pump installed. The transfer case and transmission were removed and checked and a few bearings replaced as needed.

The truck runs well, leaks fluids some as might be expected, and needs to be primed to start, carb kit is back ordered with VPW, or that would not be the case.
Outside the truck is ivory, black wheels, with Imron gray split rings. Inside the cab floors are painted with Hirsch Miracle Paint in black with rubber mats and a VPW cardboard cab interior kit with the original green painted interior.

Tire pressure markings, in metric, are stenciled in the dash as well as repro info tags on the dash. Why metric? Who knows where the truck was in the past but VPW said that last life was as a Colorado farm truck. The tires good, glass good, new fuel tank, and after market headlight protectors. Fenders and running boards are Rhino Liner coated for durability as is the bed. I live in a sandy area and painted running boards were not going to last. The bed is not wood, (all the wood and structure was missing) it is three diamond plate panels welded together then bolted to the bed frame, the tailgate is a reproduction to replace the farmer's rather crummy home made tailgate. The bedsides show some weld spots where I did repairs and replaced the rusted out rear stake pockets.

Maintenance log kept since purchase in 1999.
Box of spare bits and pieces included.
Original Power Wagon tools included.
I have no keys for the cab-large locking chrome equipment box bolted in the bed.
Comes with Jerry can and High Lift jack attached to the outside of the bed.
Has won awards at car shows,-not for perfection but for being unique.
Flathead six
Non directional military tread tires.
