I can't understand why a person selling a vehicle doesn't spend a little time and money to get it running. If it ran then it'll run now. Maybe the fuel tank needs flushed out, a gas line, fuel pump, whatever....The value of the truck will increase and the likelihood of selling it most certainly will increase.
