Attached here is an image from under my '47 WDX. This image was taken fromm under the passenger side of my truck looking up and towards thefront.

Transfer Case shift rods viewed from below and from Passenger Side of truck.
This image gives a better view of the attachment of the control rods to the levers within the cab of the truck.
Both levers in the cab are positioned at their furthest possible position forward towards the firewall.
