Especially w/power steering. It made the driving much more relaxing when it WANTS to go straight instead of wanting to wander.
Hmm, how to measure? IIRC, I used a machinist's Mititoyu protractor square head w/ bubble. On the hub outer surface. Since that camber angle was the same at each end of turning travel (left/right) the caster was 0. So I added a STEEL wedge that I machined myself. The sand cast aluminum wedges are crap-they have to handle the whole load.
You would have to do some cogitating on how much/which way that camber angle changes to get the actual caster angle if it isn't 0/equal at left and right stops. How are you at algebra/trigonometry?
