Funny, the Tisdale mobile I brought home from IN had a weird miss at high RPM so I had the ignition on & was wiggling the distributor shaft & sparks were arcing all over. Bad bushings. So I had a spare distributor I rebuilt & when I went to put it in it was seized solid in the block! Couldn’t even turn it. I was tapping the lock plate on the bottom to get it to loosen up. So I worked it back & forth…tried penetrating oil…tried everything! Nuthin.
Finally I found a 3’ pry bar from the shipyard…it had the perfect bend to pop that sucker out! Lol
Leverage is a wonderful thing :)
