Electric power mandates will only work if the power infrastructure is rebuilt from 1930 standards when built to current 21st century needs.
Most homes do not have an adequate sized main electrical panel to serve a home plus charger, especially if they are currently running an AC unit.
Also, in my thoughts, which are usually wrong it seems is are we kicking the can down the road with solar as the way with climate change or just following the leader in using it thinking we are saving the planet?
My reasoning on this is the so called furor of global warming. How much reflective heat is given off of a solar farm, creating a micro climate that raises the ambient temperature around the farm, which raises the regions ambient temperature just like a parabolic dish can cook a steak by the suns rays.
