Hi Tom,
A lot of these springs will work, you can cut them and bend them to the shape you need. The two fingers that hold the spring will sometimes break off the latch when removing the spring, if they do, you can use a 1/8 wire, make a horse shoe, feed it through the sides of where the spring mounts and crimp it to hold the spring in place.
