Hi Vaughn, you know what…I gave up! Lol. I hade a friend tig weld it & then another friend is a machinist…he chased the thread. It’s a left hand thread. My guess is the one VPW sells is a RH thread but it’s all good.
Then after fixing the nut I determined I have a spare from another transmission!! I use the input shaft for center if my clutch discs & it still has the bearing!!!
I’ll likely just use the repaired nut. Not like it’s ever gonna break.
