When I long ago worked for a dealesship it was a fairly honest place. As time went on and the next in line took over it still Was doing well then a dressed up guy came into the dealership and talked to the owner and said for some amount of money that he could make the dealer service department more than quadruple there profit if not he would not get paid so the owner accepted, and the guy stayed with the service managers every day for a while instructing them how to operate then things went downhill fast. He told them to what he called upsale compensate the techs for what they sell with a chart on the wall with all the techs names and who upssold the most got more money.He also said to send flyers out for something free to get the customers in and then look the car over and advise the customer they needed more.The owner was smiling then complaints started coming the best dealer around now had a bad reputation I was long gone but herd many story's about the place they treat you like a best friend when you enter the place I sure liked it when I fist started working there things were going smooth
