Mine will travel at 70 all day long. With 4.89s and 9.00 x16s it turns 3500RPM. But I have a V8 in mine. I have been up to 90mph in it once. It was very stable and tracked well. The drum brakes faded badly when I slowed down. That’s when I put front disk brakes in.
If you replace every bearing, bushing and joint and drag link in the front suspension and steering the trucks are quite stable. I have found that the Michelin xml and xl tires run really well and I have never balanced any of them and no vibration. I had bias tires to start with and everything vibrated badly.
