With knowing the length of block either 23 or 25 inched, you can remove a part plug, use a brazing rod and a utility knife blade to mark the max and minimum fo piston's rotation
One person holding rod in plug hole with blade against it scratching rod as another rotated crank, as the piston raises and lowers the blade will scratch rod, stroke length will be distance between the extreme marks
That will narrow your possibilities, then to know if the bore is 4 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, or 5/8, don't know an easy way other than pulling head, then you can mick. finding if they are oversized piston or rings
