Check Pedal Free Travel - With pedal at resting position, push in with hand till you feel resistance, s/b about an inch free travel. You'll need to remove the driver side floor plate and one pin to adjust the linkage. Look for wallowed pin holes on the linkage levers and side-to-side movement in the clutch fork indicating worn bushings. You can adjust unless parts are extremely worn.

Remove the clutch cover at bottom and look at disk. Have someone depress the clutch so you can see the rivets in the disk to see how much material is left. If it's close to the rivets, you may need to replace the disk.
