Bring a spare coil and condensor.
If you have the unidirectional military tires, stay off of wet pavement. Leave tons of space in front of you. If you have a sudden stop, try and pump the brakes rather than constant pressure to stop.
I slid through an intersection one time stopping for a red light. Was driving to fast. Never did that again.
Check your wheel lugs to make sure they are tight.
