The design itself is fine to drive, just slow in regular traffic. Compared to most newer pickups it’s kind of compact. Like any other rig, condition and how long it has been sitting are the big concerns. If the wiring is old it can get exciting, especially with 24volts. Mine had a short on the brake light switch, boiled the brake fluid in the mc and turned it into a little blowtorch under my feet. Happily driving my new army truck one minute and the next minute I was on fire with no brakes.
