Have you done WC 1/2 tons? In looking, it seems that the frame rail situation is pretty different, and from Chris's picture, the angle looks like it ends up being lower. Bending I am able to get what looks like the original angle.
I'm not sure if the Snake River would fit the 1/2 tons, or at least without mods but I was planning on building one anyway.
I think that these trucks are close enough that the general approach works, but the details require different monkey work.
