Back again i'm afraid so here goes. When installing a new but hidden temp. gauge in the Power Wagon due to original temp bulb being separated from the core i accidentally touched the wrench just for a split second on the back of the horn wiring connector. Not thinking anything about it got back in the truck started it up and observed the new temp gauge. Scanning instruments was in shock to see the needle on my amp gauge had traveled all the way to the left or discharge and had overrode the face or black portion of gauge and needle was stuck about 1/8" from left. I have tried pecking on it, using a magnet and all new cuss words for my not attentive action of not unhooking battery first. Any thought at all on how to try and get needle back on front side of gauge face? Still six volt positive and is still charging about 7.4 so no damage here but i guess that brief spark did this. Thanks again.
