Thanks Vaughn. The spurt of fluid up from the bottom of the reservoir is happening during the push stroke of the pedal, not on the return. The pedal offers some resistance, but not much. I'm pushing it with one hand. Then it stops after about an inch of rod movement. The spurt of fluid comes after about a half inch of movement of the rod, both reservoirs at the same time. I'm not losing any fluid, and I see no leaks. I did the cam bolt adjustment already as you described. I'm going to go bleed them and then I'll try your booster test procedure. What is the stroke length of the MC, remember I have what appears to be the VPW retrofit booster. I've attempted to paste a link to a picture. I'm trying to determine if the end of my pedal stroke is the MC bottoming out, or is it because of brake pressure being built. I do get some braking, but it is quite weak. The brake cylinders are not ancient, and the two I can get at are not leaking. I'm ok to drive down my side street, but I wouldn't go anywhere with traffic. Thanks for your help! New to the PW game.
