Well did you file a stolen truck to the police? If so there is a chance. I have seen Washington state return returned to the original owners after 30 to 40 years. When you first license a vehicle in this state the StTe Patrol will inspect the vehicle. If they find that the serial numbers ties to a stolen vehicle they will seize it and return it to the person it was stolen from. The poor guy who they seize it from is left with nothing even if they had no clue it was stolen.
So if you know the serial number or can contact the police you reported it to or that state they may have record of it. Then you need to find where the one on Craigslist went to and call the local police.
