Measure the track width - center tire to center tire to see if it is the same. You don't want a narrower track width than what you have on the 68, tires could rub on the side of the bed when cornering, or a track much wider. If the spring perches on the axle housing don't match the width on the 68 housing, you can cut off the old and weld on new perches.
