My 75 W600 has severe "Dodge lean" on the front & I would like to replace the front springs. I sent the specifications off to a couple of companies that build spring packs. One of them finally got back to me this week with a quote. Looks like I'm looking at $1100-1200/pair + shipping. I wasn't quite expecting this much & am not sure if it even includes spring eye bushings. I would have to use my existing lower shock mounts. Then I still would have to get new U-bolts/hardware. W600 springs are dimensionally similar (2.5" leaf width & 52" eye to eye length) to 70's GM springs but the tail eye is looped down (GM springs loop up on both ends) & both eyes are larger in diameter. I'm not so much concerned with maintaining the factory load capacity as I am with restoring the proper vehicle height. If ride comfort improves that's be fine but the nature of this truck doesn't warrant a cushy ride. Any thoughts?
