I don't know your husband but wanted to wish the best for a full recovery. My family is also dealing with a very serious health issue which may soon prompt me to sell my truck as well so it doesn't just sit in the garage endlessly.
The folks in this group are a good group who I've always found to be caring, honest, and willing to offer advice or help. I'm sure there will be ample advice available from them. You can also look in the Trucks For Sale section to see if you find anything close in condition to your husband's trucks. That may give you a ballpark figure.
