For those of you that want to install a rubber, neoprene, silicone oil seal instead of leather, you can buy the 6127 seal, punch out the leather seal, and replace it with a transmission silicone seal - Timken/National 331227H for a modern oil seal. The new seal is 0.375 wide instead of 0.780 and will allow you to install missing any worn grove in the yoke.

SPECS. = Bore � 1.875, Housing Bore � 2.625, O.D. - 2.629, Width � 0.375 which matches the yoke O.D of 1-7/8 and 6127 seal housing.
