Offered for Sale - Dodge Power Wagon WM300
Reading from the Logbook (V5) this Power Wagon has declared year of manufacture as 1957
The PW has been retrofitted with a Hanomag naturally aspirated diesel engine
This Dodge Power Wagon was built in the USA. It was then shipped to Denmark to served in the Army, when retired it came to the UK. I've owned it for last 14 years
This PW is fitted with the optional front mounted Braden winch running off a PTO.
The cab has the bench seat fitted
The rear body is a tray style with tailgate
The wooden floor in the rear body will need replacing in parts. I was going to fit a standard step-side body with tailgate and external mudguards, these are now produced complete in the USA and can be shipped in kit form to the UK.
The PW is in a very good condition for its age, there will be one or two jobs for the next owner, glass and window-winding gear missing from the driver's door, the wood floor in the tray will need sorting, as will the brake master cylinder (all wheel cylinders have been replaced along with the master cylinder seals) it may be that the brakes just need bleeding again.
There are two spare Wheels/Tyres (9.00x16)
Also included is a spare fuel tank
This style of rear body had the facility to fit a hood, although I've never had one for it, there is however one hood-stick that could be used as a template to make a further two
This vehicle does not require an MoT or Road Tax for UK use.

These Dodge Power Wagons have an avid following in the US, there is a whole restoration, parts supply and rebuild industry set up that supplies everything, (the same as for our Land Rovers here in the UK).
