Yep. And to add - I am not trying to discourage anyone. I think the rewards of searching out the right truck far outweigh the disappointments. I have seen a few people get discouraged after the fact though, after they find out that no matter how appealing the appearance of a Power-Wagon may be, it is an old truck and quite far removed from the modern vehicles they are probably used to.

Intimate is not quite the right word to describe one's attachment to a Power-Wagon, but it is the best I can come up to describe the feeling after one has spent years getting to know virtually every nut and bolt on a particular truck. When I am driving one of my trucks it becomes an extension of me unlike any other vehicle could. The senses are heightened to a new level of awareness and all of the smells, sounds, and feelings generated through the seat, floor, steering wheel, and gearshift levers all come together to convey what condition the truck is in and how it is performing. I also find I have a greater awareness of what other drivers on the road around me are doing.

One may experience this same thing while riding a horse, but probably not while driving a 2021 Ford Bronco.

By the way. Nice truck you have if I neglected to tell you before.

Junior
