I have a ’51 FFPW which in a previous life was a fire company brush truck. Those guys added a brake booster because of the extra weight of the water tank.
It appears to have a black hose going into the bottom of it which is attached to the intake manifold. And on the side is a smaller component into which the brake hose appears to enter and exit. There are two nipples on the top of this unit - one which goes into the top blue part of the booster, and one which goes into the housing where the brake hoses are attached. Can anyone tell me how this unit works and what I need to do at both nipples to service the unit?
