Eric,glad you and yours are OK. Be sure to fight hard to get her insurance co. to add the $2,200 of recent repairs to what ever valuation for the Volvo you both agree on. Make sure you have the receipts to prove the repairs were recently done. If they fight with you over that additional money, get lawyer to fight for you. Yes,the lawyer will want %%% of $$$, but it should be worth it to you and a good lawyer, espcially now that you have to go find another car/truck. Be sure to add car rental costs, if you do that too.
