I too know this feeling. The police from a neighboring town chased a drunk driver who finally smashed into the side of my 93 Dodge caravan and then moved the van 20 feet sideways and pushed it into the basement of the house while me and my family were upstairs sleeping. Wow, what a way to wake up! Fortunately, somehow he managed to miss my 1974 W300 that was parked beside it. Oh well. anyways good luck on finding a new steed. What is it with people that drink and drive anyways, if they would make examples out of people like this maybe others would think twice ? In my case all the deductibles {car and renters ins.} came out of my pocket and then on top of that they screwed me on my van. Talk about being #@&*^% off. I am sick and tired of these idiots costing innocent people time and money.
