Dave I forgot one question. On the front of your block, usually hidden by 40 years of dirt and grease (uh oh, just like those PW frame numbers!) there will be a 318-3, or 318, or 318-2 stamped on the front of one of the heads. If it just says 318 it is a 1. From looking at the specs I'd say that the 318-2 was the best engine to have if it is a Poly. Forged cranks, roller timing gears, higher compression and the HD parts that it shared with the 3. PLUS that baby Hemi head! Mine will be putting out about 300 HP, but more importantly it will have lots of bottom end for putting around.
