Lots of companies sell remote and bypass filter setups. Keep in mind that if your going to put a remote full flow type setup on a flathead (230,251) then it better have a flow restrictor built in it like the stock bypass has or your going to play hell with your Pressure relief valve with all that unrestricted oil trying to dump back through it on its way back to the oilpan, not to mention your oil pressure jumping all over the place as pressure builds and drops as the pr valve trys to regulate the flow or should I say pressure. The restrictor in the stock bypass is nothing more then just a small oriface in the center tube that the filtered oil passes through on its way out the canister but its a restricter none the less so keep this in mind when you look for a remote setup.
